Starting September 17, as previously announced, the running track at Burus Csaba Sport Park has been closed to the general public. The reason is a large-scale project aimed at expanding the training pitch located here.

Starting September 17, as previously announced, the running track at Burus Csaba Sport Park has been closed to the general public. The reason is a large-scale project aimed at expanding the training pitch located here.

The training pitch surface at Burus Csaba Sport Park will be enlarged by about 400 square metres once the contractor completes the works, which are currently progressing visibly. Thanks to this expansion, not only will our teams have a larger training area at their disposal, but the pitch can also be divided in such a way that two training sessions can take place simultaneously where previously only one was possible. Moreover, the training areas will be managed more efficiently and in a way that is less demanding on the turf.

In addition, it will become possible that, whenever a match is played on pitch no. 2 — used almost exclusively for training — the playing field can be lined closer to the stand located there.

The contractually agreed deadline for the works is approximately 50 days, depending on weather conditions.
