The Romanian Football Federation (FRF) has published this year’s ranking of youth development academies, and FK Csíkszereda’s academy is once again on the podium.

A total of 124 sports clubs appear in the 2025 ranking of youth development centers, with FK Csíkszereda’s academy, the Székely Land Football Academy, taking second place with 89.90 points. Only Gheorghe Hagi’s academy, FCV Farul Constanța SA, narrowly surpasses us with a total of 91.45 points, while the podium is completed by ACS Academia de Fotbal Viitorul Cluj with 88.76 points. In fourth place is another club from Cluj, AS FC Universitatea, with 88.63 points.

With this second place, we have outperformed academies such as Rapid, Steaua, FCSB, and even Dinamo. Sepsi OSK’s academy ranks 16th, with 81.92 points.

“Thanks to our deliberate and thoughtful development, our academy is growing in parallel with our senior team, which has been promoted to the first division this year. We have been among the top for years, thanks to our human resources, infrastructure, the number of players in the youth national teams, and the academy’s performance. We hope to stay at the top in the coming years as well, and that many of our players will debut among the seniors, even in the first division,” said Zoltán Dusinszki, technical director of the Székely Land Football Academy.
