Luca Noveli – who has already featured for the senior team – scored the decisive goal from a penalty kick in the 29th minute, the only one in the Elite Youth League Round 4 fixture between FK Csíkszereda and Politehnica Timișoara. The visitors’ hopes of an equaliser were dashed late in the game when Lazăr collected two yellow cards in quick succession and was sent off. For Goran Kopunović’s men this was the fourth win in as many matches in the Western group of the Youth League, and they sit top of the table thanks to a superior goal difference over Universitatea Cluj.
