Our “Outlook” series has lost one of its key figures: Dusinszki Szabolcs has returned home, meaning his career can now be followed this season through the match reports of our Superliga team.
As we reported in the previous episode, the 20-year-old attacking midfielder, who returned to Puskás Akadémia from Csákvár after the end of his loan, played in the first round of the NB I for the Felcsút side against Kazincbarcika. On Monday, however, he signed his new contract in Miercurea Ciuc: in our first Superliga season, he will strengthen the team where he grew up. We warmly welcome him and wish him much success in the colours of FK Csíkszereda!
Another former academy player of ours, now in Romania’s top tier with Rapid Bucharest, Omar El Sawy, came on in the 90th minute of the last Superliga round’s match in Galați against Oțelul; the Railwaymen drew 1–1 on Monday evening by the Danube.
Tamás Nándor’s team, Komárom, competing in the Slovak top flight, was supposed to play Slovan over the weekend, but the match was postponed at the request of the Bratislava side, citing their participation in European competitions.
In Hungary’s NB II, Roland Vajda, also born in Odorheiu Secuiesc, was on the bench for his new team, Videoton, in their most recent league match – a goalless draw against Csákvár, the former team of Dusinszki Szabolcs. Another academy player of ours in the league, Alexandru Ureche, came on in stoppage time in BVSC-Zugló’s 0–1 home defeat to Kecskemét.
