Elite League | Three wins and a draw on play-off weekend
Our U18 and U16 teams claimed their second and third play-off victories respectively, the U17s picked up their first three points, while the U15s shared the points with Petrolul. Our academy teams therefore finished the weekend with three wins and a draw.
Outlook | KFC Komárno’s first league win
Corbu Marius provided an assist for Ferencváros, while Tamás Nándor celebrated Komárom’s first league win as a starter. In our weekly Alumni Watch, we round up the club performances of former Szeklerland Football Academy players between 26 October and 1 November 2026.
Women’s Superliga | Convincing victory keeps us top
The match against the Cluj side proved more straightforward than expected for Péter Kollár’s players, who gained emphatic revenge for their away defeat in the third round. With this victory, our women’s team remain top of the table.
Superliga | We made Rapid work for their win
Our team could have come away from Giulești with more than a two-goal defeat, but that would have required us to convert our clear-cut chances in the first half. An improved Rapid side took the lead after the break, but excellent saves from Pap Eduard kept our hopes of taking something from the game alive, and the hosts only secured their victory in stoppage time.
Superliga | A more efficient performance needed in Giulești
Our men’s team are preparing for their third match in seven days: following our first league victory against Voluntari and the cup defeat to FC Bihor, we visit Rapid Bucharest on Friday evening.
Romanian Cup | Painful defeat against FC Bihor
We suffered a home defeat to second-division opposition in the Romanian Cup, considerably reducing our chances of progressing. We failed to keep a single point at home despite playing with a numerical advantage more then 20 minutes.
