An excellent weekend for our youth teams: both the U16 and U15 sides claimed victories away against FC Botoșani in the 1st round of the Elite Cup on Tuesday. The boys impressed with their organized play, strong attacking performance, and determination.
An excellent day for our youth teams: both the U16 and U15 sides claimed victories away against FC Botoșani in the 1st round of the Elite Cup on Tuesday. The boys impressed with their organized play, strong attacking performance, and determination.
Zoltán Fogarasi’s team earned a 2–1 away victory. Our side proved more active from the very start and took the lead in the first half thanks to Darius Matei’s goal in the 18th minute. The hosts equalised early in the second half through Tihon, but Szabolcs Boér secured the winning goal for FK in the 59th minute.
Burus Bernát’s U16 squad recorded a confident 2–0 victory at the same venue. Our players started strongly, with Szabó Örs opening the scoring in the 14th minute, followed just four minutes later by Klein Tizián, who sealed the final result. The team maintained focus and discipline throughout the match, earning a convincing win away from home.
