Elitliga U15 | Megmaradt az esély a bronzmérkőzésre

Our U15 team kept their podium hopes alive in the Elite League play-off after a convincing victory over Dinamo’s youth side.

Fogarasi Zoltán’s team said goodbye to their home ground for this season on Pitch 2 of the Burus Csaba Sports Base. The match started a bit sluggishly, but the red and blacks gradually took control and, approaching the final stages, clearly turned the game in their favour. With this win, they not only remained on the podium but also preserved their chances, ahead of the final round, of finishing second and qualifying for the bronze match.

The first big chance belonged to the visitors: in the 12th minute, Iancu went through on goal, but Bâlbâe made a brilliant save. Ten minutes later, our team came close to taking the lead, with several attackers having opportunities, but Dinamo’s defence cleared for a corner. In the 26th minute, the breakthrough came: Matei Darius received a good pass on the left side of the box, beat his direct opponent and calmly finished into the near corner.

Before halftime, we could have extended the lead: Debrenti Milán made a solo run but his shot was saved, while Orbán Hunor produced a fine move on the right, beating his defender but failing to score. In the second half, FK became increasingly dangerous. In the 51st minute, Debrenti could not connect properly with a low cross from the right.

In the 61st minute, Orbán Hunor made no mistake: after yet another right-sided attack, he scored from a tight angle into the far corner. Three minutes later, Debrenti won the ball and assisted Matei, who fired a powerful shot from central position to seal the result. In the closing minutes, Keresztes Ákos came close to scoring with a header, but missed narrowly, and the score remained unchanged: 3–0.
