Portik Helga, head coach, evaluation:
“From the first minute it was clear that this would be a very tough match. Both teams played with great intensity. At the beginning of the game the opponents had a chance, but our goalkeeper made a good save. We kept going and tried to impose our own game. We scored two goals, but both were disallowed for offside.
At halftime we discussed with the girls what we needed to do in order to win the match. They understood perfectly and did everything to become even better. The chances came, and after a good through pass we managed to score, which gave the girls even more strength. We kept pushing and from a nice attacking move we were able to increase our lead.
We felt huge joy and happiness because we managed to win such a difficult match. The girls played very well, fought hard and earned a well-deserved victory. It was a real team effort! I am very proud of them. Now we will take a short rest and then continue preparing for our next match.”
