Superliga | A point against the league runners-up

We produced a very good first-half performance against Universitatea Cluj, but unfortunately could not find the net. The visitors gained the upper hand in the second half, yet they too failed to score. On the balance of play, however, a home victory would also have been a fair outcome.

Superliga | Targeting our second win against U

Last season, we celebrated our first Superliga victory against Universitatea Cluj, and this time we welcome U in pursuit of our second league win this year.

Superliga | We made Rapid work for their win

Our team could have come away from Giulești with more than a two-goal defeat, but that would have required us to convert our clear-cut chances in the first half. An improved Rapid side took the lead after the break, but excellent saves from Pap Eduard kept our hopes of taking something from the game alive, and the hosts only secured their victory in stoppage time.

Superliga | A more efficient performance needed in Giulești

Our men’s team are preparing for their third match in seven days: following our first league victory against Voluntari and the cup defeat to FC Bihor, we visit Rapid Bucharest on Friday evening.

Romanian Cup | Painful defeat against FC Bihor

We suffered a home defeat to second-division opposition in the Romanian Cup, considerably reducing our chances of progressing. We failed to keep a single point at home despite playing with a numerical advantage more then 20 minutes.

Women’s SuperLiga | Hard-fought win keeps us top

Our women’s SuperLiga team earned a 2–0 away win over Universitatea Craiova thanks to goals from Fülöp Boglárka and Katona Flóra. Kollár Péter’s side once again had to work hard for the three points, securing a sixth consecutive league victory to remain top of the table.

Superliga | A hard-earned first win at last!

FK Csíkszereda had to wait until Matchday 13 for our first victory of this Superliga campaign. The Red and Blacks took to the pitch against Voluntari with a sense of “now or never” and, despite plenty of anxious moments, secured the win. There was added joy in seeing the winning goal scored by our young academy graduate, Nyitra Szabolcs.

Superliga | Aiming to turn improved performances into victory

After an encouraging performance against Craiova and a point earned in Galați, our Superliga team returns to home action. On Saturday, we host direct rivals Voluntari: the signs of progress are already visible, but securing our first league victory will also require greater efficiency in front of goal.

SuperLiga | Nine men, immense heart: we battled to save a point

FK Csíkszereda secured their first away point of this SuperLiga season in extraordinary circumstances: down to nine men, we held on for a draw thanks to some outstanding saves from Pap Eduard.

Superliga | Growing in confidence as we target our first win

The mood in the dressing room has changed, and our performance against Craiova has given us more reasons for optimism. Our Superliga team travels to Oțelul Galați on Friday, aiming to turn an improving performance into points.

Superliga | Hope stayed alive for seventy-five minutes

Our team showed greater grit and determination against Craiova, creating chances and defending with more precision, but a moment of inattention still crept in, and we ultimately failed to keep a point at home against the reigning champions.

Superliga | A new beginning: we host the champions

Following the international break, our Superliga team returns to league action against reigning champions Universitatea Craiova. Sunday’s home fixture, kicking off at 18:00, will be the first competitive match of Valentin Suciu’s second spell in charge.

Friendly | Four-goal victory in Suciu Valentin’s first match

Our Superliga team secured a convincing 4–0 victory over Gloria Bistrița in Saturday’s friendly.

Superliga | Still without an away point

This may have been the closest we have come this season to claiming a point or points away from home, but a debatable refereeing decision also played a part in denying us once again.

Superliga | Heading to Ploiești in search of a point—or points

In our final match before the international break, our Superliga team will visit fourth-placed Petrolul Ploiești.

Superliga | Hope lasted twenty minutes against Dinamo

The match against Dinamo began with a goal from Márton Eppel, but our hopes of earning points had already faded by the end of the first half. We now have ten days until our next league fixture, followed by a longer international break, giving us time to put things in order.

SuperLiga | We will not face the league leaders with our hands up

A special Friday night awaits us at the Csíkszereda Municipal Stadium: in the ninth round, we welcome Dinamo Bucharest, who top the table after eight matches.

Superliga | Heavy defeat in Arad

There was little indication at half-time of the heavy blow awaiting us away to UTA. Our performance completely collapsed in the second half, however, and despite Márton Eppel pulling one back, we left Arad with our heaviest defeat of the season so far.

Superliga | Looking to draw strength from our cup success in Arad

Our men’s team face another away fixture: following Wednesday’s cup victory in Bistrița, we travel to Arad on Saturday to take on direct rivals UTA.

Superliga | Eppel double in vain as we suffer another home defeat

Márton Eppel ended his scoring drought this season with a brace against CFR Cluj, but even that was not enough to earn us a point. We made too many mistakes, which the visitors duly punished.

Superliga | Looking to break the ice at home

Our Superliga side are preparing for only their third home league match of the season, with CFR Cluj visiting the Municipal Stadium on Saturday at 4 p.m.

Superliga | Going down to ten denied us the chance to earn points

Playing for more than 70 minutes with ten men proved too much for our team: despite our territorial dominance and fluent passing before the sending-off, we missed the opportunity to return home from Botoșani with one or even all three points.

Superliga | Another long journey in search of more points

Our Superliga side face another away fixture on Monday, as István Szabó’s team visit FC Botoșani in the sixth round.

SuperLiga | First point secured in the Székely derby

The two Székelyland teams played out an attractive and evenly contested match in their first-ever meeting in the Romanian top flight. The Székely derby lived up to the expectations of a true football celebration, both in the stands and on the pitch.
