Női Szuperliga | Magabiztos győzelem a Gloria ellen

Playing freely and with full control from start to finish, we secured another convincing victory in Round 12 of the Women’s Superleague. On Sunday at the Burus Csaba Sportpark, we left no chance for Gloria Bistrița, winning 4–0 in dominant fashion.

We took control early in the game and opened the scoring in the 5th minute when Erika Geréd’s low shot was deflected into the net by a defender (1–0).
The visitors struggled to cross midfield as we kept them under constant pressure.

Our advantage doubled in the 30th minute through Melánia Tóbik, who finished from close range after a rebound (2–0).
Ten minutes later, Jehona Shala made it three with a precise shot into the bottom left corner following a setup from Andrea Herczeg (3–0).

With a comfortable halftime lead, we continued to dominate after the break. In the 69th minute, Melánia Tóbik headed home her second goal of the match (4–0).

After the match, our head coach Szilvia Szeitl expressed her satisfaction with both the result and the team’s mentality:
– I truly hope everyone who came to the stadium today left happy, because from the first minute there was no question who would win. There’s a lot of hard work behind the way we play, and I’m glad it paid off again here at home – said the coach.

– It’s very important for us to keep this mentality going next week as well. Since the international break, we have three games and three wins — now we’re aiming for the fourth. Our goals haven’t changed, and we’ll do everything to achieve them – she added.

Szeitl also spoke about the injury situation:
– Unfortunately, Anna Nyéki suffered an ACL tear and will be sidelined for a longer period. We have a few minor injuries as well, but I’m confident several players will be ready to return next week – concluded the head coach.
