There were no league rounds this week in the Hungarian, Romanian or Slovak top flights, or in Hungary’s NB II, because of the international break. The clubs of Corbu Marius (Ferencváros), Omar El Sawy (UTA Arad), Tamás Nándor (KFC Komárno), Vajda Roland Ottó (HR-Rent Kozármisleny) and Gyenge Szilárd (Sepsi OSK) therefore did not play.

Brugger Dániel came off the bench twice for Hungary’s U19 national team at the Vilotić tournament in Serbia. He played thirteen minutes in the 2–1 win over Romania on 24 September. Two days later, he entered in the 63rd minute of the 1–1 draw with Bulgaria and spent 27 minutes on the pitch. His weekly total was two appearances and forty minutes of playing time.

Puskás Akadémia’s first team had no fixture, but their reserve side drew 1–1 with Balatonalmádi on 27 September. Dusinszki Szabolcs and Bencze Lóránd were not in the Puskás Akadémia II squad, while Brugger was away on international duty.

Bencze joined Romania’s U18 squad on 23 September ahead of the Four Nations Tournament in Portugal. The team’s first match is scheduled for 29 September.

ETO FC had no league match, but ETO Akadémia beat ZTE II 3–1 on 26 September. Bödő Zoltán Efraim was not in the Győr reserve team’s matchday squad.

Two fixtures from round eight of Romania’s Liga 2 were played on Tuesday, 22 September. Demeter Zsombor started at centre-back and played the full match for ASA Târgu Mureș against CS Dinamo București. ASA trailed 1–0 at half-time but came back to win 4–3. Demeter completed ninety minutes, and the Târgu Mureș side moved up to thirteenth place in Liga 2 with eleven points.

Leczki Norbert remained on the bench for CSC Dumbrăvița’s home match against CSM Reșița. His team lost 2–0 and sit twenty-first in the table with three points.

The teams of Simon Máté (Steaua București), Alexandru Ureche (CSM Slatina), Bara Levente (CSM Olimpia Satu Mare) and Albert Hunor (Unirea Slobozia) did not play this week.

Liga 3

• CSM Gheorgheni lost 2–0 away to USV-CSM Iași. Gergely Botond, Balogh Szilárd, Sebestyén Botond, Simó Csongor and Jakab Krisztián all started and played the full match. Balogh was booked in the 23rd minute. László Norbert came on in the 65th minute and played 25 minutes. CSM are ninth with six points.

• Minaur Baia Mare drew 2–2 at home with Academia Viitorul Cluj. Iosif Cristian started and was substituted in the 67th minute. Minaur lead the table with thirteen points.

• FC Odorheiu Secuiesc drew 1–1 in Pașcani. Antonucci Michele and Lázár Kristóf played ninety minutes, Kárándi Roland played until half-time, and Keszler-Nagy Roland stayed on until the 75th minute. Marosi Krisztián came on in the 75th minute for a fifteen-minute appearance, while Lukács Dániel remained on the bench. The Odorheiu Secuiesc side are fourth with ten points.

• CSM Deva drew 5–5 away to CIL Blaj in an eventful, high-scoring match. Györfi Attila played throughout and was booked in the 90+3rd minute. Juhos Gábor came on in the 55th minute and played 35 minutes. CSM Deva are fifth with nine points.

• Unirea Tășnad lost 2–1 at home to Academica Recea. Erdei Ramón came on in the 32nd minute and spent 58 minutes on the pitch. Kárándi Botond was not in the matchday squad. Unirea Tășnad are eleventh with two points.

• Jiul Petroșani beat Petrolul Hârtiești 5–0. Păcuraru Luca started, scored in the 24th minute and was substituted in the 72nd. Polgár Denis also started and played until half-time. Jiul are sixth with ten points.

• Unirea Dej drew 0–0 away to Transilvania Sport Academy. Szőke Lénárd was not in the matchday squad. Unirea Dej are tenth with four points.
