Our Superliga squad will complete the final training sessions of its Austrian camp on Thursday before travelling home to Szeklerland on Friday. The series of pre-season fixtures continued on Tuesday and Wednesday with two further matches, against Austrian third-tier side USV Scheiblingkirchen-Warth and Croatian top-flight team NK Slaven Belupo.

On Tuesday, FK faced Austrian third-tier side USV Scheiblingkirchen-Warth in Mönichkirchen, the base of our training camp. Five under-21 players – Máté Simon, György Papp, Cristian Iosif, Szabolcs Nyitra and Darius Bota – were named in the starting eleven.

Our team took the lead through Jozef Dolný in the 16th minute, before Dušan Vuković doubled the advantage in the 28th. Dolný struck again after the break, scoring his second and FK’s third goal in the 74th minute, while Szabolcs Szalay completed the 4–0 victory in the 87th minute.

On Wednesday, the team travelled to Slovenia to face Croatian top-flight side NK Slaven Belupo in Gornja Radgona. In a useful, high-quality match played at a good tempo, FK made the stronger start, with Márton Eppel opening the scoring in the 16th minute. The Croatian side equalised in the 28th minute from a softly awarded penalty.

Our opponents changed their entire line-up at half-time, while FK made a total of five substitutions during the match. With a larger number of fresh players on the pitch, the Croatian team turned the game around with goals in the 59th and 60th minutes and eventually won 3–1.
