Three players from FK Csíkszereda’s boys’ teams were involved in Romania’s youth national squads during the September international break.
Our U17 Elite League team managed to pull one back in the second half through a goal by Máthé Apor, but eventually fell 2–1 against UTA in Arad. Our U18 Youth League side closed the 7th round of the Western group with a 3–0 defeat.
We drew with a team from the Europa League group stage – FK Csíkszereda played a 1–1 draw with Romanian champions FCSB, in a match in which victory was also possible.
We went behind after a mistake in the first half, but in the second period we broke the deadlock, turned the game around, and kept all three points at home against Olimpia Gherla.
A historic clash awaits our Superliga team on Sunday evening: for the first time we will host the reigning champions, FCSB Bucharest. We will step onto the pitch in front of a sold-out stadium, with only one goal – securing our very first Superliga victory.
Just like the one-year older age group, our U15 team also sent home the bottom-ranked side from Piatra Neamț with a round 10–0 victory in the 7th round of the Elite League.
Our U16 team had no difficulties against the bottom-ranked side from Piatra Neamț, as Burus Bernát’s players scored seven times in the first half alone.
In their second Youth League match, FK Csíkszereda’s women’s team earned a draw on Friday afternoon, hosting Concordia Chiajna on the artificial turf next to the Erőss Zsolt Arena.

Our U16 team secured three valuable points on the road against sixth-placed ACS Petrolul 52, delivering a mature and composed performance.
Our women’s youth team began its very first season in the Women’s Youth League with a victory, as our girls played away in Buzău in the opening round.
Both of our teams collected all three points away at ACS Hușana in the 4th round of the championship for the oldest pre-academy age groups.
Our U15 team claimed a three-goal victory against FC Botoșani in Saturday’s round. This time, the boys were led by assistant coach Bartis Szabolcs, who shared his post-match assessment.
Our U16 team defeated the corresponding junior squad of FC Botoșani by three goals in the round played on Saturday at home. After the match, head coach Bernát Burus provided his assessment of the game.
FK Csíkszereda collected one point in Monday’s clash with Oțelul Galați, but nobody would have been surprised if Róbert Ilyés’s men had managed to take all three.
Our youth team won on Sunday away at Sepsi OSK in the U18 Elite League thanks to a brace from substitute Rónai, while the U17s suffered a narrow defeat.

Our U15 team defeated the FC Botoșani youth side by three goals in Saturday’s home match.
Our U16 team had no major difficulties in defeating Botoșani, a side that had earned only one point in the first four rounds.
Without much drama, but with a somewhat stuttering performance, our Women’s Superliga team managed to keep all three points at home on Saturday against the side from Alba Iulia.
